~~ A SECURE 6 FOOT FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED
Meet one happy Collie boy, Parker!!  Parker is a 1 ½ years young, purebred Collie puppy weighing in at around 65 LBS.  This boy is so happy to be in a foster home with other friends to play with. Parker is very young at heart and VERY athletic.  He was seen jumping over an entire Lazy Boy recliner and clearing it with a single jump.  Adopter MUST have a 6 foot secured fence!  Parker is UTD on all of his vaccines, neutered, micro-chipped, Canine Influenza vaccine not to mention that he has done a really good job with his potty training and crate training.  Parker spent the first 1 ½ years living out doors in an unprotected pen, causing his beautiful Collie coat to get sun damaged, dry and very bleached out.  His nose was rubbed red with open sores from running up and down the chicken coop that was next to his kennel.  He has been groomed and conditioners used to help soften the hair as it grows back in.  His nose is totally healed with no remaining indication of the previous marks from herding the chickens.  He gets along well with other dogs and cats.  Parker definitely could benefit from some Obedience and House Manners training often offered by certified trainers.  He’s a smart boy and would catch on very quickly.  He should probably not be around small children due to the “puppy state of mind” that he is continually in.  He could easily knock a small child down and accidentally hurt them.  He yearns for attention and is just a lover of life!  If you are interested in meeting Parker, please come visit us at our adopt-a-pet events at Petco.
